Sensei Natasha Mongeau, 3rd Dan
Owner and Dojo Director
Sensei Natasha made her debut in Sankukan Karate in 1986 and obtained her black belt in 1991 with Shihan Jean-Pierre Trahan.
She joined the Kyokushin style in 2002 with Shihan Roman Szyrajew, then part of the Matsushima Group. She obtained her Shodan in 2005.
She has participated in seminars in Japan and Australia as well as others more locally. She obtained her Nidan in 2008.
Following the pandemic and the closure of the Pointe-Claire Dojo in 2020 in which she trained, she resumed and reopened the school with her husband Senpai Marc Vinet.
She obtained her Sandan in 2022.
Sensei Natasha is known for her precision in the application of techniques.
Senpai Marc Vinet,
1st Dan
Owner and Dojo Director
Senpai Marc started Kyokushin Karate by joining Shihan Roman Szyrajew in 2002 at his school in Dollard Des Ormeaux.
Before Kyokushin, he had already gained extensive experience in AIKIDO and Jeet Kun Do. Senpai Marc is always interested in finding the best in other martial arts styles to perfect his knowledge and transmit it in his teaching.
Following the pandemic and the closure of the Pointe-Claire Dojo in 2020 in which he trained, he resumed and reopened the school with his wife Sensei Natasha Mongeau.
He obtained his Shodan in 2022.
Shihan Ronald Auclair,
5th Dan
Shihan Ron, who is 73 years old, began his Karate training in 1971 at age 20 and, after practicing various styles including Kobudo and reaching black belt level in Shorin-ryu Karate-Do, he joined the Kyokushin ranks in 1992 and has been training in Kyokushin ever since. He is the author of a biography of Hanshi Roman Szyrajew (available through the Pointe-Claire Dojo) and has travelled extensively in North America and Japan to train and participate in seminars and tournaments. He continues to teach and train regularly and is a recognized authority on the history of Karate
Sensei Florence Goujon, 3rd Dan
Holder of a black belt in self-defense in France in the 1990s, Sensei Florence then started Kyokushin Karate in the Matsushima Group, in Canada, under the direction of Shihan Roman Szyrajew. She has participated in various seminars in Quebec and Japan and obtained her Shodan in 2011. In 2015, she won 3rd place in kata at the 19th North American Championship Camille Ohan. She also got her Nidan in 2015 and her Sandan in 2020. Florence has also had the opportunity to referee at many tournaments. Sensei Florence is passionate about teaching and is easily able to transmit her knowledge to students.
Sensei Guylaine St-Louis,
3rd Dan
Sensei Guylaine started Kyokushin Karate with Shihan Roman Szyrajew then with IKO Matsushima Organization. In 2011 and 2012, she participated in several competitions in both Kata and Kumite. She obtained her Shodan in 2013. Sensei Guylaine has also refereed at many tournaments. It was in 2015 that she obtained her Nidan. In 2016, she won 2nd place at the Gold Cup Elite. Sensei Guylaine is a reference in the history of martial arts and terminology. It was in 2020 that she obtained her Sandan.
Senpai Marc Beelen,
2nd Dan
Senpai Marc started Kyokushin Karate, in 2009, with Shihan Alain Bonnamie and Shihan Bertrand Barron at Seichin Dojo, in Dollard des Ormeaux. In 2016, he joined Shihan Roman Szyrajew, at Karaté Kyokushin Pointe-Claire, and got his Shodan in 2017, in Spain and his Nidan in 2020, in Montreal. His passion for martial arts is reflected in his classes and teaching style
Senpai Ruth R. Culala,
2nd Dan
Senpai Ruth began her journey in Karate in 2006 at Seishin Dojo under the supervision of Shihan Bertrand Barron and Sensei Steven Glickman. She quickly developed a deep passion to this craft.
In 2016, she joined Karaté Kyokushin Pointe-Claire. She received her shodan in 2015 and subsequently in 2020, she received her nidan, both under the leadership of Hanshi Roman Szyrajew.
She participated in seminars in Tamashiwari held at Seishin Dojo and followed Hanshi Roman's seminars as well in Old Orchard Beach, Maine (USA).
She participated in tournaments as a judge and referee and competed in a kata category.

Senpai Jasmine Staco,
2nd Dan
Senpai Jasmine started Kyokushin Karate at Seishin dojo with Shihan Bertrand Barron and Sensei Steven Glickman in 2006. She got her shodan in 2015 and nidan in 2020 with Hanshi Roman Szyrajew.
She continues to improve her skills by participating regularly to several seminars in Canada, USA and overseas.
She has refereed in several tournaments.
Senpai Jasmine loves to teach and inspire the next generation.
Senpai Ian Medza,
2nd Dan
Senpai Ian’s karate journey began in 1984, upon seeing the original Karate Kid movie. He initially started karate training in the Wado-Ryu style for several years. He rediscovered his passion for karate as an adult in 2012 when he resumed his practice by training in Kyokushin karate under Hanshi Roman Szyrajew.
Senpai Ian's classes focus on endurance, kihon and kumite, the essential techniques that form the basis for effective sparring and kumite. His emphasis on these fundamentals helps students build a strong practical karate foundation.
